Andrej 18 ppg in ACC last season. He as much higher upside than Tre. I wish Brad would have him release like TSJ and let him loose in the open court. Maybe he just does not have the speed of TSJ. I think if we can unlock Andrej to either TSJ or Marcus D level this is an elite 8 team.

I liked Tre because he was low usage but contributed. Unfortunately he is a tweener. Does not shoot the 3 pointer really well. Not big enough to play inside.

I would not play him in front of David (rebounding machine and can hit the 3) Andrej (explosive scorer at SF) so Tre was not worth the $NIL he was looking for.
Happy he is getting paid at Kansas. First of the 4 schools in 4 years crowd. I think he could have stayed at USC for 4 years and had same career. His 3 pt % is up 10 points at Kansas. Which is allowing him to score 15 ppg (vs 10 ppg prior 3 years). I hope he can sustain it.

If he had done that at Illinois we might have had 3 more wins - TN, NW MSU plus a better NCAA seed.

Skyy Clark suffered a hamstring injury in UCLA’s loss to Iowa. Unofficial word is he will be out indefinitely. As we know, hamstring injuries can be problematic.

I believe 7 schools in 7 years going back to HS
I don't know what the number of schools matters in this day and age. The Tre for Mirk trade is like Jordan for Malone. They don't play the same position and while it'd make you better in some ways, it would definitely make you worse in others.

Tre for Andrej is a much better question. Andrej has been good, but Tre has been having a great season.

I wouldn't be surprised if the hamstring kept him out just long enough to get his NIL money.

Man some former Illini having big years.

Morez 15 and 7 on 68%
Hansberry 16.5/9/3 on 50/32/68
White 15/7/2 on 50/40/87
Booth 12/7/1 on 55/45/86
DGL 17/3/3 on 46/35/87
Epps 16/2/2 on 47%
Sky 13/3/2 on 47% (48% from 3).

Standouts to me are DGL, Morez, and White. Carey Booth shooting 45% on his volume is impressive. Hansberry is such a nifty passer too.

Other guys:
Lieb 5 and 5 (not a big year but nice to see him get a rotation spot at Illinois state).
Harris 7/3/1 on 40%
Morretti 4/2/3 on 47%
