When is a 14-pt lead at half not as good as it seems? When Duke is 0 for 7 from 3 and Illini is 6 for 8.
I’m not one to complain much about officiating, but seemed like a few times around the basket Illini didn’t get calls.
I like Curbelo’s game, but he does need to learn what his teammates can and can’t to. I’ve noticed that though he might make a “good” pass, it really isn’t because the recipient isn’t capable of doing anything with it in the position he leaves them in. He’s gonna be very good, but he ain’t there yet.
