Can someone explain the logic of going for two there? Why wouldn’t they want make it a one possession game?

Because they have to go for two eventually, better to know if you get it now or not and have time to adjust

Need to keep this a 2 score lead come crunch time in the 4th. I don't like relying on our porous defense if Duke has the ball and a TD would win it for them. Much better play by offense this half, in spite of our TFL rushing game. Can we at least claw our way back to average better than 1 yard per carry?
