Well, it could have been worse, but i didn't really like what i saw on defense the first drive.

Make you run 12 plays effectively to get on the board

Duke's biggest play was a penalty by our D on the stop. That's a good opening series IMO

Facemask was tough for us on that drive. Thought we had a few mental mishaps but that’s okay. Great pressure on second down and a big stop on 3rd when we needed it. Think our D-Line is actually pushing them around quite a bit. I’ll take a 3 point deficit

How? His D linemen need to beat the Duke offensive linemen one on one. That didn't happen that first drive. If you're a coach and your guys can't control the line of scrimmage.....not much you can do. You can stack the box, but you're leaving your corners on an island.

Defense is supposed to never give up yards or points.
