The first one looked like PI. For the 2nd one, Witherspoon has just as much right to go for the ball as the WR and he was in better position. I think if you're going to call PI there it almost has to be offensive PI.

Indiana has been called for 1 penalty that the caused themself with the delay of game. This is horrible. Just need to make halftime adjustments

1. I actually think the incomplete call on review against the TD was correct. Looks like ground helped pin ball to Bryant on end zone angle.
2. My goodness I’ve never heard worse play-by-play. It’s like he’s not interested in calling the game at all and just wants to ramble. Keeps deciding outcomes (incorrectly) and standing by them, evidence be damned.
3. I love our DBs aggressiveness, but they should be embarrassed with themselves for grandstanding after a big play and getting busted over the top the following play on a hurry up, multiple times.
4. Our kicker/punter have been very underwhelming so far this year.
5. Lots of slop on both sides. This game could easily be 24-21 right now.

As someone who watches every Ducks game, I’m still chuckling over this comment.
Let’s just say, be careful what you wish for…
1. DeVito is the best QB we have had in a while.
2. I Williams is super shifty and hard to tackle
3. We are giving the Indiana QB way too much time in the pocket.
4. Our DB's need to get their crap together.
5. Last year our Kicker and Punter were a strength- this year it's a weakness.

Such a strange illini performance in that first half ......Chase Brown is a dynamo.....Devito looks solid and has had numerous passes dropped by our receivers...
The one that IW dropped was a drive killer.....Secondary needs to tighten up big time and we still have a non existent pass rush ........
The call on the pass to Washington in the end zone is a miss on all accounts...............Punting is a terrible weak spot so far tonight....
I just don't understand how refs can miss so many calls and look themselves in the mirror......All the sh*t that went wrong in the 1st half and only down six is mind numbing to me........I need something else to numb my mind after watching the first 30 minutes of this game.....ODD GAME.......

These officials remind me of several years ago when we played Nebraska the 1st game with Lovie as coach and the following week Nebraska was scheduled to play Ohio state at Nebraska. The officials literally did everything they could to make sure Nebraska went into their home game against Ohio state 1-0, it was an atrocious.

Lol, did they not show any of the highlights for this game in favor of the Nebraska-Northwestern game from last week and yesterday's Purdue-PSU game? What in the world is going on tonight... Between the coverage, the announcers, the refs, and the drops, and the penalties, this has been some kind of hell tonight. Let's make up for it in the 2nd half.

We broke down on 3 passing plays and gave up half the yardage on those plays. Indiana is a one trick pony and ILLINOIS has to stop them!
I love IW but has to catch the ball before making plays with it. Illinois secondary needs to make adjustments. Same time with first 2 punts and fumble, think they held up real well. If we get Indiana 3rd and long we have to flat out make the stop from now on.

I was expecting some first half analysis of our game at half as well. nothing is going as expected tonight
Tough first half. We have controlled time of possesion but the penalties, dropped passes, and poor punting have really hurt us. Indiana making the big plays when they are most needed. We need to find an answer for him but he is pretty impressive so far,
Can't drop passes and fumble the ball either.
That said we should have 2 tds. They missed that call. Stay on the ground n it was a td. Still we can't drop passes and miss open guys deep.

There are so many of you folks complaining about the announcers........Once again , why don't you click on the radio line in Dan's first post of this thread and listen to the Illini announcers....???????........there is little to no lag and all you have to do is hit the live button on the TV screen and it's good to go......Oh well , not for me to say anything as I am loving the announcers that bleed O & B.....................Carry on...................
