So you've not watched any Illini football over the past 10 years? We're still below our per game average over that span.
I certainly won’t be happy losing this game after everything that has happened, but one thing to keep in mind: our team had basically NO idea what the would see on either side from IU. No spring game, new coordinators, and a ton of new players. Add in the first road game for a bunch of new players and there will be some growing pains.

If it were not for our impressive D, we would be 10+ down right now, Offense needs consistency. I hope Brown is not out for the game. That was a huge hit on him unprotected.
Hopefully playing so many guys on d will help us close this thing out. No more miscues. Let's win this
For a team with an above avg talent level (it appears to be a potentially top 25 team)...this is maybe the worst mental performance I have seen in 65 years of Illini football.
