In the 70 years I have been an Illini fan, nothing in a B1G season game has ever been more pleasant than this start (with a nod of respect to Nick Anderson). But it is only a start. IU will come out with energy to start the second half. Illini defense must be huge with their energy to start the second half or this will get a lot stickier. Pretty sure they cannot win if they can't score over 60 in the next 20 min. of clock if that kind of defense is the case.

In 4 games out of 17, we have went Golden State from 3 pt. range. I have had a hard time falling in love with this style of play. I love the name on the jersey and watching players go through our program. That is over in CBB. Morez, I sure would love to see it. When everything is over this year, he should be on the court 20+ minutes.
I love our rebounding when we commit and our Free throw shooting is phenomenal!
I pray we don't go cold and lay a brick in 2nd round.

I really hope they work on Ben/Domask move. It is tough to stop that with the guys they put on Hummer

Not only have I been an Illin hoops fans for 70 years, but I am also and Arizona alum. Ballo gets my ire too. But not to worry, when the Cats meet the Illin on the hardwood, I am an Illini fan completely.
