Just a total disaster. You came out flat nd everything went wrong. Not that we had much of a chance but a 3 point game at half when the offense has rhythm was the recipe. This is awful.

Just like they extended it, maybe they shoukd take years off of Belima's contract after a beating like this. This is a program trajectory altering loss. I mean really they are getting embarrassed out there.

If I hear this on this thread one more time I’m gonna lose it. These DB’s have NOTHING to do with the combination of Luke and the OL shifting the bed against pressure.
Luke has not turned the ball over. Brett will not be very critical of Luke post game. Nor should he. He didn't have a chance. The GOAT could've been our qb tonight and got the same results. Get off Luke. Our line and wrs must do better. It's not like he held the ball. You guys kill me riding Luke. Who that ever played qb ever ...anywhere would've excelled? No one! Gotta block.longer than they did tonight and gotta get open

Let’s just be honest.

We will never be consistently relevant. If it’s not happening now, it’s not happening. We’ll just have to be content with 6-6 and an occasional good season.

How soon until basketball starts?

He’s going to have A LOT of questions to answer …

Donors don’t shell out huge $$$ to watch Luke take hits and Bailey go to the locker room doing f’ing 60 …

JUST FLAT OUT STUPID !!!!!!!!!
I think maybe BB allowed himself to become a bit too distracted this week leading up to the game. He was on a lot of spots it seemed. It doesn't seem like this is the staff where he has that luxury. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but just a thought. Regardless, this is the third or fourth season I've thought he really needs to strengthen the staff. This is not the way to keep momentum in this program.

Come on, man… a huge win in a big bowl game, against an SEC team, to get 10 wins… and now that’s meaningless because we got our doors blown off on the road with a short-handed defense against a top-25 BIG team?

Nope. It’s a bad night. If this team somehow bounces back to go 10-2, the margin could even cost us the playoffs. But more likely, we’re an 8-9 win team if we get and stay healthy. And hopefully we get to beat another SEC team in a bowl game.
What I’m saying is what difference does it make tonight. I was at that fantastic victory and will never ever forget it. It was incredible.

This staff and Bret got flat out EXPOSED …

Better get it back on the f’ing tracks …

And that may mean staff changes … I don’t care what it takes …

FIX IT !!!!!!

i felt like this was going to be a bad night when they lined up to punt on 4&1 in the first half and we had to call a timeout to get the right players on the field.

absolutely knew they'd go for it after that and scored a few plays later

the blocked punt was rough but thye responded quickly, that next drive was deflating

Bret needs to completely change his philosophy of Wisconsin bang there’s running game football. We need to be electric on offense and agressive on D. Neither Henry or Lunney are that type. We cannot play the grind the ball to set up the pass. Good teams will beat us every time.

You literally said that?
I quoted it.
I said we’re getting our doors blown off on the road by a top 25 team on the road with a short-handed defense.

Yes, having no defensive secondary is a major reason for that.

You’re 100% correct that our O-line has been a disgrace… but if our defense was complete, it would be more likely 27-10, or even 33-10. Which would be SIGNIFICANTLY less embarrassing.

But you can be right if that’s important to you.

I generally like Bret's bravado- but nights like tonight make it look pretty arrogant and pathetic. He's done a lot for our program- but nights like tonight are inexcusable. Just comical that Bret said he's been game planning for this since the Spring hahahahahaha.
