There could be if we were to get more of the young players. If we're all watching the future team, it would be more fun.

I dunno. I get the point about player development, but I'm not sure this team is even capable of being 'fun bad.'

29-25 at half.

Offense is bad.
Defense is, surprisingly, pretty decent.

First half thoughts...

Refs are pretty bad. Most calls going Iowa's way.
Tate looks BAD today.l
Morgan seems to be struggling. No hands for catching passes.
TJL looks pretty decent but is making some passes that are REALLY close to being bad.
JCL offense is pretty weak today, but his D has stepped up.
JCL needs to develop a better handle. He looks bad dribbling today.
Our outside shooting is pitiful. Did Finke even take a shot in the 1st half?

Agreed, great to be in this one at halftime despite the huge scoring drought. The defense deserves credit (along with Iowa's mediocrity). I'm happy we're within range.

They really do.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, though. We can't score, and we're due for a big Iowa run.

Is it bad for me to think that Malcom travels a lot? He does it with confidence on moves towards the basket (Pro style), so it never really gets called. Am I wrong?

I'm going to ask again because I'm curious and didn't get an answer before: does anyone know what the little bumps are on the back of the Iowa players under their jerseys where their names are?

It's braille. One of their players is blind, so he uses that to help figure out who is on the court.
