Yea..I saw that fake punt coming too, but if there's a chance you can get the ball back and add more points, you take it.

Stupid, STUPID coaching. No reason to help them with clock stoppage. NO reason not to expect that fake punt from our own 41. Pathetic! These kids are playing too hard for this crap!

Good 1st half by the players
Very poor half by the coaching staff: of course the fake punt & the onside kick, but absolutely horrible clock management at the end of the half!! No reason at all to ever use your timeouts in that spot! I expect much better from Lovie. If everything goes as planned we have the ball inside our 20 with a minute to play & no timeouts.

Stats are pretty much dead even at the half. Except for being screwed over by the refs, of course. We're way ahead on that one.

Illini looked confused on that fake punt. Guys reshuffling on the LOS. Possible just a bunch of young kids that made a mistake. Considering how well the entire team has looked today. Not a lot of mental mistakes so far.

Great improvements in playcalling from McGee, helps having a QB who is at least a threat to complete a pass.
Ligs just needs to go. Those two special teams gaffs could end up being the difference in this game, we'd be leading if he earned even $1 of his 300k.
