Crazy but with the sun the way it is I might have gone with side of field and worried about who receives in the second half after the sun sinks.

I’ll say this: not sure if starting Paddock or Altmyer would have made a difference this far in the game. This has been bad. Sigh. Was hoping for a surprise.

It's both. Iowa was 4th in the nation in pass efficiency defense and 23rd in run defense. This is a really really good defense. And our oline has struggled this season outside of the past 2 games. It's going to be tough sledding

I guess I somewhat “knew” that it could happen, but I dunno if I’ve ever seen refs refuse to review a play. Especially if a timeout had been called specifically to do so.
