Yeah, being up 20 was nice... but lets not act like being up 10 at half is a bad thing, okay? Iowa was making NOTHING to start the game, we knew that wasn't gonna continue.
Don't blame them. Their women's team is legit. And to be fair, in the 80s and early 90s their men's team had a rabid rabid following. The Lickliter hire basically put them in a hell they've never really gotten out of
The bench has to be better. 5 points, 3 rebounds, 4 TO's and 7 fouls.

Even though we missed layups/dunks and are getting seriously jobbed by the refs.
We were told to slow it up? Why? By whom?
First 5 minutes we were a little off but ok. Middle 10 we were good then got sloppy and defense suffered in last 5.
OTOH, the starters are rested.

d j bald head ref will do things in the second half to make it a close game.......we can count on it........that O foul he called on Dain was the weakest O foul I have seen in the B$G this year........
Harmon with 3 fouls concerns me , as does extended tick for Moretti......He is adequate but needs a ton of muscle to play in the B$G regularly........
Perkins will be raring to go in the second half after sitting for so long....His facial expressions looks like a bad case of constipation ....
I hope BU let's the starters play more in the second half as I want to do as much damage to the idiots NCAA tourney hopes as possible.....I really really do...............................

Dain needs to be aware that he needs to keep moving around. Sometimes he just stands by the basket allowing his defender to double and clog up the lane.

Well...Iowa basically didnt score for 8 minutes, and we blew a 25+ point lead while Underwood threw in weird lineups and never called a single timeout while Iowa was absolutely surging.
We also let a 5'10, 160lb freshman come in and dominate the game.
We need a better domask on O this half

The main problem I have seen witnessed with this team since the beginning is they have NO KILLER INSTINCT! I am so sick of watching this team give up leads. They continually find ways to turn the ball over or lose men on defense. It is just so maddening. Also, Underwood has no sense of when to substitute and when to leave things as they are. If Harmon can go three offensive times down the court without doing something stupid it will be a first. Quit getting sped up. "Be quick, but don't hurry": John Wooden. They will get no help in this game. It is paramount to remember: this is a game being played in Iowa City. Dain gets sped up and it helps him in no way.
Then, we should stop fouling and start playing defense with our feet.
