Is it mandatory that if we don’t shoot a 3, players MUST pump fake before doing anything else with the ball?

Every game. Opponent allowed to foul at will while every touch called on us. Tired of it.

Watching the game, there is a very clear point where the style of offensive play changed for IL. They started eating time at the start of the clock and passing early good looks. If they weren't told to slow it up, then everyone on the team suddenly decided to slow it up on their own.
