It’s almost like they don’t practice post moves. He can easily go back right for an easy layup if he had footwork and a little practice.

Yes. He’s the only one on our team where the ball sticks. He’s a flow killer. He’s best when he get it close to the hoop and just flips up a baby hook.

One great thing about college basketball is the way it allows for contrasts of styles.
Both teams dominated the portion of that half that was played in their style and rhythm and tempo.

Ben‘s foul whistled because refs expecting us to foul with a foul to give. Been atleast half a dozen Iowa reach–ins worse than that. Bam‘s earlier also looked clean.
The defense has gotten better as the season progresses. Some of that is the opposition, but it definitely appears they are getting better with this system.
He is best out on the perimeter. Not sure why we don’t run the high-low like we did last year with him and Morez. Can do it with Mirk or Z down low.
Tomi had above avg passing last year from what I remember. But his overall skillset has regressed tremendously in the past year.
3/12 from 3 and up 11 on the road is usually a good sign. Also, compare the three point looks we’ve gotten vs the ones they’ve gotten. My bet is three point regression favors the Orange & Blue in the 2nd half.

Yep. We have ourselves an 11-point cushion, so if we can play even with them in the second half, we’re going home with a double digit Quad 1 road win. Gotta love that!

At 7'1", he brings the ball down and he makes himself 6'1". I don't remember him having that issue last year. He just seems off with everything he does. It's not because of lack of effort, I think it's a lack of confidence. He doesn't quite know what he wants to do and when you're thinking versus just reacting, everything is slower. Last year, his moves were quick and decisive whether it be in the post or shooting the three. I hope he regains that. The only way to do it is play through it.
Gotta keep playing offense and not settle. Couple of bad ISO possessions. Keep the ball moving and trust your teammates.
