Hmmm if only someone brought up bad habits of taking your foot off the gas last game. Is it still a joke?Do not let these a$$hats start to feel it. Foot back on the gas. Close this out strong

Agree, though overall I’ll take this road whistle any day. Generally letting them play. Refreshing difference from High Knees, DJ, etc.Ben‘s foul whistled because refs expecting us to foul with a foul to give. Been atleast half a dozen Iowa reach–ins worse than that. Bam‘s earlier also looked clean.
I thought that too, there was a play where he had it at the top of the key, looked like he wanted to pop a 3, hesitated, then passed it off. Last year, he takes that shot.At 7'1", he brings the ball down and he makes himself 6'1". I don't remember him having that issue last year. He just seems off with everything he does. It's not because of lack of effort, I think it's a lack of confidence. He doesn't quite know what he wants to do and when you're thinking versus just reacting, everything is slower. Last year, his moves were quick and decisive whether it be in the post or shooting the three. I hope he regains that. The only way to do it is play through it.
Hit a few more threes on good looks and keep doing the same and we got this.Great half. Another 20 minutes of that and go home with the Quad 1 road win.
Last game? They win by 26.Hmmm if only someone brought up bad habits of taking your foot off the gas last game. Is it still a joke?
I have never called it a joke, not sure what you are talking aboutHmmm if only someone brought up bad habits of taking your foot off the gas last game. Is it still a joke?
Well, he's back to managing his fouls. He's got to be better than the last time he was in this spot @ Penn State. They're clearly trying to get the ball out of his hands early, this only shooting twice. The league will adjust and that's happening to him.I have a feeling that Keaton, with only 3 points on 1 of 2 shooting so far, is about to put on a clinic in the second half. Needs to watch his fouling since he already has 2 (1 was not legit), but he has shown he can play under control at an elite level.
Totally agree but lets win with less stress. After the Bears last night i dont need the stress!Yep. We have ourselves an 11-point cushion, so if we can play even with them in the second half, we’re going home with a double digit Quad 1 road win. Gotta love that!
Let’s win the second half also and pull away, though!!
BurnSolid first half. As any Packer fan would tell you, a good first half is nice, but the 2nd half is what matters. Hope we come out focused.
Agreed. Outside of Waglers 2nd foul being weak as hell, I think they’ve called a really clean game, which has made it far more enjoyable. I watched the second half of the Alabama-Texas game last night, and there was a stretch late where there were so many fouls and so many coaches appeals that it was almost unwatchable.Agree, though overall I’ll take this road whistle any day. Generally letting them play. Refreshing difference from High Knees, DJ, etc.
Does anyone know what in the world his second foul was??Well, he's back to managing his fouls. He's got to be better than the last time he was in this spot @ Penn State. And when he does miss from the perimeter, it's always short. Seems like he can't get his legs into his shot. Also, he loses a lot of start of game tip/jump ball. I wonder if we started Z instead, we'd at least win every jump ball to start the game and then BU could sub Z out at the first break and put Tomi back in.I thought that too, there was a play where he had it at the top of the key, looked like he wanted to pop a 3, hesitated, then passed it off. Right, maybe that could work if Tomi is standing and waiting for a double team to come to him, but he's dribbling, and it seems like Iowa defenders are collapsing, and he's not able to get rid of the ball. I think he might be dribbling too much in the post, including not picking up his dribble soon enough (or cleanly enough). It seems he can get better at that.Tomi has to be better in the post. Never goes back left and just stands there too much.
Absolutely. Good call. He had a similar situation, top of the key again, where he looked at the rim, looked to pass, looked at the rim and took an off balance three versus just stepping into it. It's a definite struggle.I thought that too, there was a play where he had it at the top of the key, looked like he wanted to pop a 3, hesitated, then passed it off. Last year, he takes that shot.
Grandma is a decent seamstress, but she really isn't into it. Anyway, she didn't make themWhy do Iowa's jerseys look like Grandma-sewn replicas?
I think they called it when he tried to double and he swiped down at it. I didn't think it merited a foul call.Does anyone know what in the world his second foul was??
true, but alsoSolid first half. As any Packer fan would tell you, a good first half is nice, but the 2nd half is what matters. Hope we come out focused.
