Announcer said that Trent was a defensive player who developed into an offensive threat? Obviously didn't see his freshman year. Has always been a 2 way player.
He’s going to have a few games this year where his adrenaline is a little high. He’s gonna be in positions he’s never been in a lot this season. Big games, big minutes, tough environments. Encouraging to see him settle into this game.
I once got into a debate last season with a fellow big ten fan who said we got lucky Trent went off one game. I educated him on his freshman season and he tucked his tail.
I'm ok with him shooting. I seem to recall a certain Illinois player that hardly hit a 3 until his senior year, and then shot lights out. Hint: DMW
I'm going to lose it watching this slow down game...only thing keeping us ahead are 3ps.....drive the f'ng ball in the 1st 10 seconds of shot clock and we will be much more efficient.
I keep reading all of these comments about Curbelo getting a big head. Curbelo is doing exactly what he did last season. This season, he seems to want to always take a big shot.
