We have the type of team to cut this to 2 at SOME POINT in the 2nd half, I believe that, but it’s how we respond after that. Maryland will go cold at some point. It’s about how we respond from there. I actually think we gave them fits with Dain in drop coverage and Coleman on the floor for size and rebounding. I’d look for more of that in the 2nd half. We can not be soft on the boards if we want to win this game. Let’s have a 2nd half against UCLA in College Park tonight.
I agree, CoHawk and Dainja are a huge offensive mismatch in total and not a bad defensive matchup either. I'd like to see that for awhile.

Maryland has had better looks for deep than us. When we do get looks we need to be ready to take . I think Hawk has passed on a few I wish he would have taken.

Anyone see similarities of the Terps with last seasons Houston and Baylor of two yeas ago? Lots of lengthy shooters and athleticism and plenty of confidence.

We are fortunate to be down only 7. Offense looked better with Dain in the game. They are killing us with wide open 3's. Gotta fix that.

This would be a good time for TSJ to assert himself and show why he is getting noticed by NBA scouts. Needs to take some of the load off Cohawk and give Maryland 2 big threats to defend. And grab some rebounds this half, Maryland is outhustling us badly on the boards.

I'm worried about Sencire. He was limping bad.

Epps got sped up and lost his way.

It will be interesting to see who plays and plays well in the second half.

Missed most of the first half moving heavy furniture up a flight of stairs and kinda wish I had another dresser sitting around
