Game Thread: Illinois at Maryland

Maybe we will win by 20. But I don’t have the confidence in the offense that I had a couple months ago.

First play of the game we run a play to get Boswell a layup.

Since then we’ve struggled with long guys defending our guards.

Teams are not agraid to let multiple guys on ou team shoot threes.

On the bright side (I guess), he did somehow hit 4 3s in the last game vs Maryland.

Marylands D is pretty good and prevents us from getting eaay baskets and rebounds when refs lets them shove, push and hold. Its kind of ridiculous how hard it is for our guys to move.

Maryland's D is literally crap. They are 336th in defensive efficiency. We are making them look like much better than they are.

Maryland has one dunk and one post move that were easy shots- EVERY other shot they've made has been defended well and contested... They are the mid range shots Underwood wants teams to take. I'm not panicking yet.
