Game Thread: Illinois at Maryland

[OskieWowWow]

Jordan Anderson you DAWG. Dude always comes up clutch

[Altgeld's Bells]

Jordan Anderson is coming up big today! So happy for him after all these years in the O & B!!

[eas23]

Anderson has had a couple of long runs this year, but I feel like this might be the best all around consistent game of his career.

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Don’t score a TD here. Take it all the way down. It’s a chip shot.

[TheodoreRex]

JORDAN ANDERSON LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!

He's had some massive runs the last two games. Let's milk the clock and kick a run off field goal to win it.

[CheifKeith91]

I still want us to play for a td with Maryland having 3 to left

I digress. Play for fg now

[NorthShoreIllini]

For as bad as the OL was in first half they came to play in 2H!

[Illini2010-11]

After the way the oline opened up holes that prior drive, I am slightly disappointed they did not try to continue pounding the ball. Laughery got a solid 5 yard rush. I think their line is wearing down, and we did not pressure them enough.

I think they were listening to me. Absolutely owning the line right now!

Anderson is a man on a mission! And showing off his high football IQ!

[Battle89]

1st down ends that!

Every play gets closer I agree. But when the announcer said that with two minutes left I disagreed.

[Second place is 1st loser]

It is wrong to only try for three here. Too much time left.

It's one of those tough spots. You want to make MD burn their TO's and an incompletion stops the clock. On the same token, keeping aggressive can leave us with the last crack. Honestly, it comes down to how much do you trust your defense?

[Fly Illini Fly!]

I don’t get why MD isn’t letting us score.

[altgeld88]

Smart young man.

[skyIdub]

AND HES GOT FOOTBALL IQ JORDAN ANDERSON TAKE US HOME!!!!

[ChiefGritty]

Head's up play, well done

[Miles Leonard]

Very heads up!

[AssemblyHallForever]

Smart play. Let time run off the clock. Maryland was letting him score

[aaeismacgychel]

Extremely smart play. This is Bielema ball

[CheifKeith91]

Smart play Anderson

[CDRUSN]

Anderson refused to be denied! That first down should guarantee a walk off score as time expires, barring total catastrophe.

[Ryllini]

Jordan, thankfully my wife isn't watching. You dawg.

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Don’t score a TD here. Take it all the way down. It’s a chip shot.

AMAZING PLAY BY ANDERSON

[New Creation]

[EmeraldCityIllini]

Why 4 seconds?!

That’s a miss…

All that ends well. Still don’t get the clock in football a lot of times

[Ryllini]

Flawless operation here, please.

[BretMyBeachHouse]

The pain of college football is that there are so many four hour long games that you know are over in a handful of plays because one team didn't show up.

Won't even be close, what a waste.

This did not age well.
