Game Thread: Illinois at Maryland

[zentrails]

A run that wasn't just a handoff up the middle, like the whole thread has been asking for.

Delay let D get ready for the run up the middle, then run up the middle double argh

[CDRUSN]

These runs for little or no gain up the middle are ponderous man, ponderous. Maryland is stacking the line and daring us to throw or run outside.

[thehass]

I'm glad to see that we are throwing to the tight end. About time.

[KBLEE]

Hopefully Lunney grabs the backup playbook at halftime.

[Mr. Tibbs]

about as frustrating a game as we’ve played the whole year

[thefalcon5]

Housers looks good minus the pick.

You play to win the game, not for next years team. If he’s healthy and feelin good he needs to be in.

[Altgeld's Bells]

I'm wondering if the team practiced mainly with Boyd and Clayton this week so they're more out of sync with Houser back in there.

I haven’t.

[zentrails]

Tie it to end the half, please.

Just keep it 7-0 and I'm, not happy, but ...

[FloridaMan]

The worst half of the season following the best. This is Illinois football, folks!

Screen for a gain of two, lol. You just can't make this stuff up!

[Scoregasm]

Someone smack the offense and Lunney at halftime.

[illinifan4249]

We had our lowest offensive output of the season against Oregon.

Illinois QBs had one of the worst EPA per drop back of any in the country last week. Was even worse than Raiola

[BWBW]

Thank goodness

[Chase321]

“Coach Lunney they are still stacking the box on first down and we have -145 yards rushing up the middle on first down!”

Barry: “Run it up the middle.”

You can’t give up on the run though.

[ChiefGritty]

Brandon Hansen is living dangerously on some holding calls

[illinidarrin]

As bad as we have played, We could very well be tied at the half. truly amazing!

[BWBW]

Houser on fire!

[zentrails]

Someone smack the offense and Lunney at halftime.

Houser trying to change that all by himself
Edit: I posted that just before that pass, honest! LOL

Yes a few I’ve seen….

[Altgeld's Bells]

Great job by our fans at the game! You can hear the ILL INI cheer in the broadcast!

[Keisersose]

All the more reason people’s desire to pull houser is nuts.
