Lot of production to make up for the missing papa. Hoping that means an extended look at AJ. Love the effort Austin shows, but he's just not the impact we'll need tonight.

The birth of my first child was one of the best days of my life - however I think being the leading scorer in an upset of Mich State in East Lansing would rank right up there. Any chance we had of an upset is sadly gone.

You know there are more important things that come along in life than illini sports. Congrats to Kendrick on the birth of his child and for him wanting to be there with his new family.

I missed work for all three of my kids birth. Can't complain at all. Was life changing for me. Hopefully if fuels him to get much better and be able to provide for that son with an NBA career.

I believe papa has produced about as much as he is ever going to!!

I can't complain at all because MSU -13.5 is looking good now. Also, Nunn made the best choice here. College basketball is fantastic, but having a kid is much beyond that.

All that pretty much says is that it's amazing how we lose one of our top 3 players again to something odd. The craziness in missed playing time just continues to stock up.

That said, I hope Ken and his girlfriend have a healthy baby.

I mean I totally understand Nunn missing this game, and congrats to him but...damn this timing sucks. I really think this is a winnable game with him, but without him it's very unlikely.
