It's gonna get lost in all the nonsense, perhaps justifiably, but quite a few Illini are having very poor games.

Refs or not, our defense has a ton of holes today. Not going to overcome Izzo's mind games with refs playing like this.

The nature of the foul calls has a lot to do with the defensive holes. Only so much you can do when every breath is a foul.

KJ absolutely killed us. This game was extremely winnable and he just gave it away.

This game will mentally break a bunch college aged minds the way it's been called. They are seeing the political side of adulthood and how life operates. Too young to understand it when they just want to play ball

As usual BU waits too long to interrupt an opposing team's run and this time he waited too long to bring back KJ and Riley.
Absolute highway robbery the fouls called on KJ- maybe BU should have gotten tossed after the 3rd foul call on KJ to counter the home court advantage that Izzo always gets with the referees

Doesn’t look like it. Yes some of these calls have been bad, but there have also been a lot of dumb fouls.
