We drew blood. They haven't, yet. We made the refs look at Fears, maybe that pays off in the second half.

We need to go to the rim every play. Score and get a foul.

Wagler made a couple uncharacteristic negative plays too, in addition to just being defended well.

That bodes well for the 2nd half.

Wagler has been mugged every time he has the ball, we’re playing 5 on 8, and still winning. Fair officiating and we’d be up 15.

Will they continue in the 2nd half or will they call things a little more fairly? I’m guessing they put $$ on MSU to beat the spread.

On defense, I think we're playing extremely well...Other than giving up too many offensive rebounds, I am happy with our play..

I feel some positive shooting % normalization coming for the Illini in the 2nd half. Too many good looks from three. MSU living on contested jumpers in the half court. Keep them out of transition, and this is ours.

Plain and simple physical man to man defense. And in fairness that is the one thing we have struggled with in our losses this season. I am interested in how Keaton adapts in the 2nd half. Hoping to see him upgrade even more and drop another efficient 20 spot. This game will serve him will before the tourney

Don’t change a thing aside from a little more pride on the glass. Keep forcing them to shoot 3’s and midrange.

Wagler is doing it to himself.

Needs to be aggressive coming off the pick like he did when he went to the hole at the end of the half and got fouled.

Scott is doing a great job crowding him much of the time, he's quick, then they double as soon as KW starts getting past him

How in the hell did the refs not call that trip on that little dirty thug...............we usually don't foul and got 7 called against us......
thugs only had 3 called till that end of half sequence.......

I knew this was going to be a 5 against 8 before the tip off........seeing Kelly Fluffer and high knees-low skills ref jeff solidified that thought.................

Ben , Andre , Jake , Tomi , Big Z and Mirko-Man played great.......................Will Waglar heat up in the second half ?...I sure hope so.....

Will fears play dirty in the second half ?............no doubt in my mind about that..............will the refs have the gonads to call it..?,,,,,,,,,,,lol....NOPE...................
