Darn. Trimble has looked good today.
Game Thread: Illinois at Michigan State
He was stopped. What are these officials looking at??
Why not call forward progress there. I swear Illinois gets screwed on more non-forward progress calls than anyone.
That’s honestly a a massive break. Obviously that it wasn’t a straight recovery…
But I’m surprised that didn’t warrant a review? He was down and looked like he had some form of control

They should have blown the whistle in that run, glad we got the ball back.
The whistle should have been blown.
Illinois gets it back but the Spartans could have challenged that. That replay shows a green player with the ball on possession and down.
They never blow a whistle anymore. Afraid to miss one and have it blown dead.
Can't miss that call in that situation
That was absolutely PTI, still, Houser has to make that throw. Also, hated that QB draw play call
I’m surprised there was no review there as it was clear that MSU had possession of the ball and was on the ground. Should be MSU ball in my opinion
What was that play call?
Hold prevented well timed up TD
WTF was that Houser run? Why?
We have terrible clock management.
Insane play call. No TO. Then MSU calls a TO? What the hell is going on out there.
Okay. Eddie Kasper was the punt return guy for Illinois State. Wouldn't he be an upgrade from Resetich?
Not sure who houser was throwing to there
I was upset at our D coach the first couple games and he is gone. I was upset at our play calling vs Duke and Purdue. The players didnt well vs Purdue either on defense. That said I think we played ok vs OSU. I like what ive seen over all thus far today. I wish we threw more on first down but I like the changes. Good time for a W and a bye week! Let's put our foit on their throat
Good half, but I always feel like we left points on the field. That missed defensive hold did not help.
