Game Thread: Illinois at Michigan State

[pweo]

That was a terrible pass.

Looked like a zone. Shouldn't the receiver sit down there instead of drifting? Didn't rewind to check

Wide. Open. Drop.

Bad throw. Would have been a ridiculously good catch

[LouHenson]

I'm super optimistic we win in OT

Will you share what your smoking?

[FloridaMan]

I knew I should have gone out and done something with my Saturday afternoon/evening. Won't make that mistake again.

[Mr. Roberts]

Only punted once (with 20 seconds left) - and we can't win.

[BZuppke]

Boy our D is really bad. And Fitzy with the towel waving. What a putz.

[ohioillini77]

No chance with our defense. Not even mad watching this game. Just sad. Rebuild and come back strong next year.

[Jimbo]

I didn’t think I could get angrier but here we are

Why would you be angry? It’s like being angry at your dog for not being a cat. We are what we are.

[Ghost77]

Bad thow it would have been a circus catch

His release is interesting. Has been throwing into some tight windows...

[Retro62]

Regardless of whether we win in OT, this game is a failure for this program.

What has been interesting about the BB era is that he has a tendency to make games that shouldn’t be entertaining… entertaining. It’s great when we’re playing teams that should beat us by a lot close. It’s frustrating when teams we should be beating by a lot keep it close.

Whatever happens, MSU coaches have looked absolutely unhinged this game.

[Oracle21]

Look at the bright side. This is great experience for Clayton and Boyd

[thehass]

What will be the final dagger for us?

[CogDog]

I just don’t know what to say. We now need our defense to win us this one.

I feel hopeless reading this. lol.

[Pikeillinifan]

Going for it on our own 34 with the lead and trying to sneak a skinny freshman QB was a bit questionable.

[IllinoisGrad0609]

Well....that was nice.

[TentakilRex]

TD Packersburg Bulldog

[skyIdub]

[RML]

Wow. lunney! What a call

[Altgeld's Bells]

That was a beautiful throw and catch.
