And then we proceed to hand it off directly to Chase up the middle … color me shocked Michigan banked on that and stuffed it.

Philstrom doesn’t completely whiff and he gets it. IW gets a first down if Hightower seals his guy on the 3rd down play

Gosh everyone in the stadium knew we were running up the middle. Would have been an easy short pass. Guys would have been open.

I think he was slightly short on 3rd down, but an entire yard is very pour spot.

That spot was dead on, but still, you can just feel that Big Ten refs operate with the assumption that the play has gone in favor of Ohio State or Michigan. The opponent bears the burden of disproving that conclusion, always.

Our play calling the last few weeks has been an abomination. We have the nations second leading runner and refuse to run the ball on any third and short situation.

100,000 people knew that ball was going right up the middle which makes it hard when you aren't as talented

I think he was referring to the 3rd down spot.

4th down wasn't close (refs had it right).
