It was, he didn't cross the line regardless and also jumped backward pre snap. Something I've noticed a couple times this game is how far the michigan center holds the ball in front of the actual line.

He was really really close to getting back onside, but that is a flag that normally gets thrown. I'm surprised it wasn't to be honest.
