Beautiful November day here in the Twin Cities, it was nice yesterday as well. Our fickle Fighting Illini have done enough so far. All the pressure is on Minnesota. We go into Happy Valley & beat a top ten Penn State & lose at home to Rutgers who actually played like a top ten team, then we shut out number 20 on the road for the first half. This team does fight even though it doesn't always show up in the box score at times. I-L-L...I-N-I !!!!

We were up 14-10 at halftime last week , so I'm still sweating bullets....What adjustments do we make and will we continue to play to win or do like last week and lay an egg in the second half....will be interesting as we get the ball first next half and a long TD drive would really make my day....It really really would

If we can open the second half with a seven-minute TD drive, l'm gonna feel pretty good about our chances here.

I'm hoping the coaches are telling the players there is another half to play

Well those last 3 drives on offense were disappointing. It’s not like the Illini were whipping the ball around to get the lead. If they were, OK maybe get a bit more conservative with a 14 point lead. But play calling early was relatively conservative, but they were mixing it up some too.

They are starting to stuff our running game, it'll be interesting how we adjust to what they are doing besides telling the OL not to whiff on blocks
