One thing I've noticed this game is how much more movement I see from our players on offense who don't have the ball. We'd often have 3 with their feet planted to the floor against Rutgers, but it seems like usually 4 are in constant motion tonight.

The talent disparity between these 2 teams is a yawning chasm. Glad to see the Illini playing a slashing game with good cuts and passes, plenty of offensive rebounds, solid D, and lots of hustle plays. Too often this year, jacking up wild threes and playing down to the level of the competition has not been a recipe for success. Let's make this our signature style going forward. There is still lots of upside for this team.

I think it absolutely is. It’s been a scheme thing. Brad really really wanted this to be like one of Jay Wrights better Villanova perimeter oriented teams and it just isn’t who they are.
