I know it's been said a hundred times already, but free throws is the difference this half. The refs have been awful, but fairly equally awful. We can't be 9-17 on free throws playing against a team that's going 16-16.

The fouls though... Averaging a foul every 46 seconds....

This is horrible and maybe even worse than the FT shooting. Losing the battle on the boards when their largest guy, for many minutes in first half, is under 6' 8"!!!!

The entire difference is in free throws...and getting beat on the boards. Kofi's poor play a huge contributor in both. Turnovers are down to 6...borderline acceptable at this pace but better than Mizzou's 9 which is terrible. Too many grade school reaching fouls. Mizzou is really fast and difficult to stay in front....but you have to find a way...our guys are not exactly statues.
