Lovie Ball! Where the haters at? It's all about players making plays at the end of the day! Illinois players are doing that the most right now which is why they're being the most successful right now... Lovie is a proven coach on the next level and had a decent season last year. He still has a lot more to progress to the level of his own and our fans expectations for sure, yet we need to stop with the hypocrisy as fans also. This team was at the bottom for a long long long time! It's always easier to tear down something than it is to build it! And also way quicker too! IJS
This seemed a bit early when it posted 3 minutes into the second quarter but hey, I get it, you got to take your victory laps when you get the chance around here.

Most fun I’ve had watching a complete Illini game as long as I can remember. Of course not as big as the Wisconsin or Michigan State wins, but those weren’t that fun until the ending. This has been a great day start to finish. Going into Lincoln and blowing them out on Blackshirt day :ROFLMAO:

I don't want to overreact to this game, but we still have a path to three maybe four wins.

Which, with the non-con would have put us at 6/7 wins.

If there were better vibez around recruiting I feel that there would be a much better feel about the program going forward.

If McCaffery's pass game is 80% five-yard out routes I think we'll take that. He can make up the four scores he's down by midway in the sixth quarter.

Red Grange was our running back the last time that we won in Lincoln

I really want to understand our TO strategy... it often seems to be "how can we bail out the other team?"

Another 4th down INT. Oh well... not complaining. :-D
Nice coverage downfield from Jake Hansen.
