I agree, but overall, there are just too many touchy foul calls in all of the games I've watched this season (including games where I don't have a dog in the fight).

Alstork gets himself in trouble too often by starting a drive and not finishing. Not much worse than picking up your dribble in the lane. Especially bad because hes a good finisher and passer. Need to make something happen

I think it had to do with Smith's poor decision making challenging the NW big man on an easy dunk. Smith didn't get called for the foul but easily could have. Coach might be trying to condition Smith to not make overly aggressive, wasteful fouls.

Illini playing hard which is awesome to see but someone needs to tell Finke to switch to verizon instead of Sprint because he is out there buffering
