can't truly say I expected this, but there was certainly a high probability. NW is good, has size, and when they are motivated, can shoot all the lights out. Add in a half dozen phantom calls against Illini, and this is the outcome. Truly the biggest disappointment of all the losses....but it was one hellacious college game at the highest level....until OT.
This is not even close to more disappointing than losing to Maryland at home

Lost to a tournament team on the road in OT by 10. Not sure what’s embarrassing about that
Half of the crows was ours. We didn't have a go right guy in crunch to me, they did, it's a game that we were favored to win vs a team that we just beat by 30.

After losing to MD at home, we needed to find road wins and this was a prime opportunity.

We still don't have any truly quality wins on the season.

All facts. While it's not embarrassing, it's truly disappointing to lose this game.

Underwood's refusal to give minutes to rotation pieces will be the downfall of this team. They've got dead legs with a ton of B1G games still left to play. Hell, did Ty even get many minutes in the 2nd half?

61 percent from the 3? This seems like a pretty fluky win for Northwestern if you ask me. This was just like the upset they pulled off vs Purdue earlier this year.
