Game Thread: Illinois at Northwestern

We score when we share. When we play by ourselves we get blocked, turn it over, and don’t score.

No blaming the refs for this predicament. If Illini had taken care of the ball and played their advantages, they lead by 15 without a foul call on NW. In this game, Hummer is a liability as they won't let him get an open look at the arc. Need more of Riley and White with Tomi opening up the lane by sitting at the arc. Kaspar trying to take advantage of a top screen is pretty useless with his lack of driving speed. He would be better at playing Marcus Domask and booty ball.

Much will depend on how BU adjusts his offense.

Truthfully most boring half of the season.kj has to pass out of theres terrible shots fr.and how about play some f×ing defense we should be up so much more very disappointed with first half effort

Refs changed the way they were calling the game at about the 6 minute mark in first half…let’s see how the 2nd half goes…if it’s a wrestling match then we could struggle…call it like the final 5-6 minutes of the 1st half and I think we win by double digits

Noticed the same thing. Absolutely insane how it changes like flipping a switch.

We actually haven't turned it over much since the first few minutes of the game, but Northwestern only has 3 turnovers the entire game.
