What a hit by Green.

The kids are still playing hard and it's nice to see at least something good happened.

Despite the IL touchdown, ESPN maintains OSU win probability at 99.9%.

More seriously, it is raining very hard. Both teams ought to just stop the game now so no one gets injured.

I don’t see how you can expect these same players to be that much better next year

Players improve from year to year. It's pretty much a given thing, that's why in a good football program, the upperclassmen play more than the frosh...

The announcers are worried Barret might get hurt while Meyer is worried they won't win by 50.

The problem’s been the hirings, not the firings.

Wouldnt it have been great to have different QB's of our own to practice in this game ;)

I can definitely see a situation where 5 years from now the program is on the up and up and poised for a big surge and lovie retires and opens the door for a big coaching hire

Stanley Green has incredible fight in him and I hope that he remains a starter for the rest of his time at Illinois. Proud of him and some of the other players who are still flying around :illinois:

Recruit offense lol

Won’t matter. Lovie Smith cannot coach offense. This was his problem in Chicago for nearly a decade and it never got fixed. And now it appears that the defense that made him the big bucks is outdated.

Do we need to go over this again? 1st recruiting class

So what makes coaches like Meyer be successful wheever they go? Is it that they go to excellent programs and just recruit well or are they actually some coaching gurus?

Good Lord! Finally start looking good, late hit out of bounds and hurts our last quarterback.

OK, that play and Miller's reaction just made the season for me.

I think we just witnessed the birth of the next Peyton Manning. :D

I loved that he was already laughing when he was in the huddle. It's like he knew how ridiculous of an idea it seems to have Illinois' QB4 come in and run the ball for a TD on his first play in the game...but then he went out there and ran his !!! off!

That play was worth sticking it out for this broadcast
