Give us credit. We hung tough the last 10 minutes in a situation where we could have been behind at half.

Who’s gonna keep their 5 on the floor? But if Ayo has another half like that it may not matter. 😆😆😆

OSU shooting 1-8 (12.5%) from 3pt. Some bad misses in wide-open looks, too...

Edit: 2-12, same percentage...forgot to add from box score
Mean reversion so far, thank goodness. They scorched Michigan from three on Sunday. 11/21.

Lunardi references (a) recent win/loss streaks, and (b) losses, in his Bracketology rankings. Further proof he has some deep-seeded spite for the Illini.

We are not an 8 seed --- or even the final 7 seed --- as of March 5th. A win tonight would be huge!

NO words to describe how much Ayo, Kofi, and Feliz mean to this team. Lots of talent, but they were all there last year too. Ayo and Feliz have really found a new level of play and Kofi adds a factor that no one else could provide...even though he is far from a finished product. Great kids too who love to play and learn and playing with each other. Kudos to BU for bringing in the right kind of guys.

Can you imagine extending the lead to 7 from a tie game with 4 guards and Kipper on the road? A new attitude and mindset in Champaign and the staff sure deserves some respect for their hard work and adaptions.

These guys are playing like they want the B1G title share and certainly played heads up and competently....all I ask.

Solid half, but I still feel we played rather poorly. Williams was awesome, Ayo was Ayo. Felix was playing a bit out of control. Kipper needed to be a bit more aggressive on offense. But, cannot complain about the result.
Feliz has 7 point and 7 boards . Sometimes you have to accept a tough miss in traffic because he makes so many on no...YES shots in the lane others cant.

I hope TF can start hitting some to the 3s good to see DW and Dre hit em

I know he doesn’t appear on any draft boards, but Ayo is gonna make some NBA team very happy.
Interestingly, I listened to Paul Klee on this past Saturday Sports Talk.

He talks to a lot of NBA scouts in covering the Nuggets. He says it's likely that Ayo declares for the draft (drafted in the mid/late 2nd round), but if he comes back for Year 3, he'll be the pre-season Player of the Year in the Big 10 and a near-certain 1st rounder in the draft, perhaps a lottery pick. Could be a matter of $$$$.

And the refs are calling it the same on both ends of the court. 4 fouls on Wesson by the 10 minute mark will help immensely.

Agreed... except that after K Wesson came back in with two they called the game differently for him. I saw three more fouls. The moving screen into DMW was blatantly worse than GB’s.

Geez... GB with 3 fouls, a TO, no shots and no rebounds. We have to get something from him in the 2nd half. Maybe the refs will let him play a bit.
I keep waiting for Giorgi to actually play defense with his feet, not his hands. And how many of those illegal screens has he been called for this year. Guy not helping the team much anymore.

Unbelievable! Prime time and ESPN shuts down with estimated repair at 8:50, just after the Illinois game!

Illinois controls their own destiny. Win tonite and finish at home and they will have a great seed. Purdue has had a rough schedule, but wins matter. They need to make some noise in the B1G tourney to get in.
