Wow. That's ****ing awesome. Weird to say, but all things considered (and a little hype pulsing through my veins), I can't see how the Illini lose today. Again?
Chemistry is a strange thing on the hardwood. Ayo has got to be Ayo....and if not efficient or doing all the little things right, anyone becomes just another player. We will certainly find out by 5 pm CST.I dunno. In a crucial road game like this one I feel a little uneasy introducing another guard into our rotation who hasn't played in 11 days.
Agreed; I was only 2/3 kidding there. Having him in there completely changes the chemistry and might also tend to inhibit younger players from stepping up. One thing I love about Ayo is how he can take over a game at the end and deliver the dagger. And that's also the thing that worries me. I want a couple other guys on the floor who also want the ball in that situation or, better yet, prevent us from getting in the position of needing a last-second J to win it.Chemistry is a strange thing on the hardwood.
