I think that this was a lot of people's points towards the end of January. At what point do you just redshirt? Asking him to hor the ground running 2/3 of the way through the conference season was unlikely and unfair to expect. It takes time.

It’s like teams continuously show up against us because we don’t have that “killer mentality”. We come out too relaxed and not ready to pounce usually, giving other teams of lesser quality the hope of a good day. We are our own worst enemy. It isn’t just teams playing well randomly in my opinion. It’s us.

Ppl that attribute it to just bad luck are underwood loyalists. He’s the best coach we’ve had in a good while, but I’m not sure that’s saying much?

I think there's something to the thought that everyone gets up for us after 2-3 years of getting killed by Ayo, Kofi, Trent, DMFW and company. They honed a killer mentality. This team needs to do that.

They're talented but laid back. We need more type A, Micheal Jordan-esque a-holes that want to destroy their opponent and then show off the damage to said opponent's families

I said this a couple games ago. We will go into the tournament as a 10-12 seed win that first game and lose in the round of 32 from chucking up 30 plus 3s

I think this is the most frustrating team to watch in a long time for the Illini.

Our depth is completely gone with Sky gone, DD not able to do anything. Luke is a written off year. Lost Pod and Andre, grandison in the off season.

We are not a second weekend team right now. Maybe if we are a 12 seed that will allow us to play as the underdog. We don’t play well when we are suppose to win. Period. This is the worst loss of the season
