Guys won more games than anyone the past 4 years in the big and our fanbase can’t wait to get back to John Groce.
Most of the team can't hit a 3 to save their behinds...now we throw them up from 10 feet beyond the 3 pt line...
We’ve got them right where we want them!
Are we just tired. This is the end of that 4 games in 9 days.

Well, that was an ugly looking last possession, but big three by Mayer. We definitely have a shot in this one, but need everyone to clamp down defensively. Cut down on the bad decisions offensively and we'll be ok.

Yeah, we done this season. Games like this do not fair well in the tournaments.

The good news is that we have some young guys who look likely to be better, more energetic leaders in a few years than our current upperclassmen (thinking especially of Goode, Rodgers and Harris). Let's just hope this kind of nonsense doesn't rub off on them first.
Epps and DD are major, major issues right now. They couldn't be played last game and this is a rerun. DD should be feasting on this team.

This. Trent got away with it somewhat because he worked his absolute @ss off, but a tale as old as time for the Illini is getting torched by bigger guards. Not saying pure size mismatch is why Epps is getting beat, but it’s no wonder guys like Pickett salivate with the matchups they get. Terrence has absolutely no excuse. He needs to be a better defender, and especially as a senior, I can’t remember a game this season where his defense really stood out in a positive way.
While agree, it seems everyone we play starts off with a perfectly planned and executed game.

It feels like we went back to watching the ball instead of crashing the boards, too. I know you don't want to just give up a fast break, but we need at least a few blue jerseys in there with the white if we want a chance to get boards

Brad has won more B1G games over the last few years than any other coach.
Man I am too invested in this team! We have talent but out rebounded 23 to 9. I know some of is Ilene missed more shots but damn!
