Game Thread: Illinois at Ohio State

[illinoistradition]

I was so adamant last year that Bart Miller needed to lose his job. Gotta give credit where credit is due. He has done an amazing job, especially with them being down now 4(!) guards.

[Lakes333]

I wonder if we’ll see a fresh-legged Javari Barnett in the 4th

Need to see him more along with Anderson.

[Boricua Illini]

Don't know how much better we could be on the passing game with Platt and Perry. We are pretty good with Clement, Trimble and Sixon...

[illinois_hustle]

We won a quarter against Ohio State!

[Hereforit]

Now let’s go win the 4th. They look tired. Texas 2.0 on deck!

[dsg]

We desperately need 7 here.

[BWBW]

It started with the great defensive halftime adjustments.

[DeonThomas]

kudos to this team, they came to play and aren't giving up.

we can go bowling if they build on this

Coaching.

We are overmatched physically. (And financially.)

[CentralILLini]

Is OSU really up to the hype? Their defense yielding like this like butter against a hot knife doesn't bode well for them at all.

We also have a really solid offense. If we had a healthy Platt as well, this would probably be a top 15 offense in major college football.

[aaeismacgychel]

Is there a reason you wouldn’t wanna get the play off before the quarter?

Not a critique, everyone does it. But it seems time, score, down. It benefits you

I would’ve snapped just so OSU didn’t get 4 minutes for their defense to get a breather

[skyIdub]

Welp, claims of 60+ points and a total drubbing were premature y'all.

We might actually be able to blame a possible loss on the refs....and not just because we're pi$#ed.

[Hereforit]

It started with the great defensive halftime adjustments.

I thought that was utterly laughable as a possibility but you are absolutely correct

[Epsilon]

That looks like a catch and that it came out when he went down

[EmeraldCityIllini]

Almost made a hell of a throw and catch. Damn it

[aaeismacgychel]

Oh man ground caused the drop ugh

[BWBW]

Nice try

[Hereforit]

That hurts

[Marshall_Lucky]

It was there

[madillini4]

[RML]

So close

[Second place is 1st loser]

Third down was the key there. Shouldn't have run the ball vs an eight man front.

[Illini in Italy]

Welp, that sucked.

[TentakilRex]

Ugh

Good day to oversleep

[SuperMetroid]

Sigh

[IlliniTaffy]

How do you not complete that catch?
