Well, if you had told me we would be 3 or 4 critical single plays from being within a TD of OSU....I would have eaten that sh$t up.
Totally hosed on at least 2 critical calls...and mostly hosed on a couple others.

Well I picked OSU to win 34-20 and said our run defense would hold up in the pregame. I’m close
It is a comfortable win for OSU, but the Illini offense looks promising going forward. The defense actually looked a bit better against 10 of OSU’s players.
It’s not a blowout. That definitely means something to me
Played much better on the lines than expected. Secondary is just.....well.
Hopefully we can building on this and get to that 7-5ish season i was more expecting at the beginning of the year instead of where it looked like we were going after after the first 3 games.
We have been more fun to watch today even with the struggles than any of the first 3 games.

And I recognize Ohio State is stacked at every position, but is it crazy to say, aside from Smith, I’m not overly impressed?
Feel like at a minimum we belong on the same field as them and we’ve left several plays out there. Think OSU drops another game or 2.

That little sequence had potential to be a disaster. You stopped the clock on 3rd and 2 and then almost didn’t get it on 4th and 2 in a 2 possession game with 5 minutes left.
