That forward progress was the right call. That announcer who said "that's a terrible call" is wrong. He literally got stopped... pushed back... THEN the ball came out.

I thought bad call initially, so I see why PSU upset. Replay showed him going down backwards toward the endzone, hit for the third time when it popped out. Safe to say his forward progress was stopped.
