I honestly don't think any team is beating Penn State if they are hitting these kind of shots. When's the last time we scored 40 in a half?

Oddly enough I’m not that worried. Just go at them more, get the fouls going, make some stops and let the chips fall.

I know I'm gonna get roasted, but this team is one of the least enjoyable teams in my illini Fandom. At least with bad teams I knew they were bad. Every time I get excited about them turning the corner the floor drops out and they look like garbage.

Problem is they are already a really good shooting team so even a regression to the mean doesn't really leave us much room to make a comeback.

In some ways, you have to appreciate the randomness (?) of college basketball, in that a team can go scoreless against us for 9 straight minutes on Saturday, and another can shoot 63% and post 53 points in 20 minutes just 3 days later. Here’s to some reversion to the mean.

They're playing against a team that can't miss right now. Illinois is playing just fine.

Here is to hoping PSU reverts to the norm in the second half. We will need it to have a chance. Not going to get any help form the 3 stooges in referee attire.

Keep attacking the basket. If they can somehow keep shooting like this in 2nd half it is what it is. But don’t start chucking up 3s every possession. Attack attack attack the basket and we’ll score plenty and have a real shot ti pull this out.

still can’t believe that ref, from the other side of the floor, called that a goal tend. He got in the moment with the 1,000 people that are there. You’d think the game was played at Mackey with the way he emphatically called it. Embarrassing.

It's not like Pickett was an unknown. Put 2 people on him and make others beat you. This is one of those games where you hopefully weather the storm and crawl out with a win. Fingers crossed.

Game has a NBA feel to it in that it's kinda go with the flow defense and if you're feeling it hoist it up.
