BTW, in the good old days in "industrial league". Picket would have to pick his a$$ up off the floor 1 or 2 times after shooting like that (hard - clean fouls)

Not ready to give up as our guys did much good in the half. But one guy, especially a talented senior, going nuclear can negate it all as we are seeing. But this Illini team plays hard...but even toughness can be just over-whelmed.

Not sure there are any obvious adjustments BU can make....especially if PSU hits 60% in 2nd half.

But I once saw a game where a team leading by 5 at the half made 75% in the 2nd....and lost. They did not get a rebound.

They are making 60 percent of their threes. Stay at home and make him beat you with 2s.

Just gotta do whatever we can to run PSU off the 3pt line. Force them to make tougher shots. They make them they make them, not much more you can do there. Humorously PSU is shooting the worst at lay-ups right now, so I guess we have that option to give them. Honestly, just an incredible offensive performance by them. This is a 14 over 3 or 13 over 4 upset in the tournament you see every so often- A team that just can't miss from three led by a player who also can't miss. Just unfortunate to be playing a team shooting like this more than anything.

I think we are playing good offensively with 40 pts and pretty good ball movement. We don't have a Jalen Pickett though. Unless we can somehow slow him down and force some turnovers, we will need lights out shooting in the 2nd half. Need to get Dainja some touches and get the ball inside even more. That may open up some open 3's.
