Good game fellas, we’re legit and weren’t embarrassed on the road against a “top 10 team”. Made some mistakes but this game was winnable. We’re heading in the right direction. We’re good. I-L-L

Runs to the short side of the field are the worst. It was a toss play 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage, just terrible

I think PSU has a great team, a lot of talent, but some very questionable coaching that gives me significant pause when it comes to their ceiling. They're going to lose a few games this year

We needed to just get points at the end of the first half. Period.

True, but Penn State has also left at least 6 points out there as well. The line on both sides of the ball are just outmatched. The fact that it is a one to two score game in end is actually astounding.

Illini seemed better coached, but PSU has better players and the home environment.

This Illini team can still be really special, even with limitations.

I haven’t seen an Illinois team that wants to lose as much as this team tonight does. If we get back to the mentality of the first four games during our next two games, we’ll be alright still. We all knew this would be our toughest test, and we’re only down 7 with less than 6 minutes left (albeit in a bad position).
