LaPhonso just said Plummer, Frazier and Curbelo are the best back court in the nation. And if Kofi is the national POY, that's four pretty damned good players on one roster.
If any of you can come up with how many times Damone has done that in five years as an Illini you will win an award over under 50?
All we have to do is not let them outscore us by more than 1 point and we got this

I hope Trent let's the game come to him They are clearly focused on him. If you don't have a clean shot since they are overplaying on you then someone should be open. Trents doing great on D.

Next foul called on either Kofi or edey will be crucial
Jake needs another first 5 minutes of the 1st half to start the second half
Too many turnovers that were really bad passes, not even close .....not like us to do that
Stop the bench no names for purdont from having the same impact as 1st half
Trent needs to come alive on offense

Well we all saw it. 5 min. of all Illini before they left the floor for a 10 min. break to let PU have layup practive and then came back out to make Plummer and All-American. Let's hope we see Trent and Kofi play a genius second half.
Love the way Illini are defending Ivey but he is finding ways to help his team...great player. Need to keep the pace too fast for Edey. Sure is like switching channels to another game when he sits.
Said this previously in this thread, when Payne or BBV is in with Trent, Plummer, and Curbelo, I would love to see RJ or Goode in place of Damonte due to the playing both ends. Need more athleticism, give DFW a breather, and get strong player on both ends at the loss of experience which is not hugely important in first half.
