Gotta get a body on Edey as soon as a shot goes up….might even send multiple bodies at him. Boxing out is extra important today especially when we want to get out and run in transition.

Want to get off the 8/9 line - here’s your chance
Go Illini! Have to drag Edey out of the paint. They are good shooters. Play in your face def. But we know that Dain will get in foul trouble. Eddy will get away with 3 second counts for sure.

I know we’ve mostly scrapped the press, but Purdon’t struggles with pressure, at least in their games I’ve seen.
In lieu of pressing, it seems an opportune time to deploy a Sencire bomb on Smith. Making life hard on him might force some mistakes and reduce the number of paint touches for Edey.

Watching pre-game for Penn St. v Maryland on B10 Network, their graphic has the bracket set up with Purdue, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Michigan, Mich St, Indiana, Illinois (8), Rutgers, Penn St, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Ohio St, Minnesota.
Which is accurate? I realize most of this will change by the time the evening games are completed, but there's a huge difference between those two.

Have to get off to a good start, shoot the cover off it, limit turnovers and keep their guards from going off. All four have been troublesome for us this year. We can add avoiding scoring droughts, but given how we play(shot selection), that's probably unavoidable.
