I think it will be good to see what McMillen can do. Had a ton of good offers coming out of HS, and he is a bit bigger than Kreutz. If he is the projected starting center for next year, this is a good opportunity for him to preview that.
Revolving door on the first series

Looking forward to Feagin running right in to a defender on first down. Then Feagin missing the hole on 2nd down. Then a sack on 3rd down.

Hoping both offense and defense decide to show up soon.

It literally bounced straight up to him. If it takes a bounce in either direction, big play potential for the defense. Lucky bounce for them, unlucky for us. Happens.
With the lack of penetration we had, it could have bounced 3 times followed by him kicking it into the endzone and he still could have walked in and grabbed it.

One issue i have with Illinois defensive coordinator is that he does not call aggressive plays enough. We do not put pressure on quarterbacks and teams. They sit back there and take their time to read the field. The Purdue QB just literally dropped the ball and had enough time to pick it up, and run untouched the end zone without even getting touched. That's ridiculous. On a goal line mind you. We gotta show more confidence in our players defensively.

I'd LOVE to be a player under some of you "coaches". If you can't tackle, blame the coach.

If you're bent on not putting any blame on the players, blame the guy who recruited the corners. If that's Henry....so be it. They are subpar player in a difficult league.

Valentine is not a short yardage back.

Our Defense and Offensive Lines always seem to out-played in the first half.

Nice call and run by Valentine there
