Well if he spent all offseason teaching players how to punch the ball out instead of defensive schemes, that would explain a lot I guess. Generally teams defenses aren't play 10yds off the opposition and hope to punch the ball out but sure, props to him for that I guess

is he gonna ever bring a blitz against a QB who clearly struggles under pressure?

Do you know what happens when you blitz and the QB gets rid of the ball quickly? Our defenders are going to be looking at the back of a Purdue players jersey as he heads to the house. They have to get more aggressive on the corners(not play 10 yards off) and keep in the pocket. Once they shut down the quick hitters, you can send some guys.
