Purdue runs offense and you can’t run Wagler ISO all game expecting him to score 50

So we get Purdue’s best shooting effort of the year today huh?

Well if we when today, we know we would beat them at their best.

This is what happens when your already shaky defense loses its objectively best defender. Can we EVER get a season where we remain healthy the whole season?? These big injuries always seem to happen to us at the most crucial time of the season too, not like, at the beginning of the season where we play mainly cupcakes. Ugh...

They're going to hang 100+ on us. We're not taking anything away. I figured the zone would be our best shot, but if you can't keep the ball out of the middle of the paint, it's a disaster. Purdue kicks it out, we're slow rotating, two skip passes and a wide open looks.

We can't guard them straight up.

It's easy to complain in front of the TV, but not sure where to go defensively.

When shots go in ypu look great. Right now they look great. Sto needs to let the game come to him as he looks totally out of control.

Andrej with 2 turnovers after dropping 30. Difference between crappy Maryland and elite Purdue. We have to play better D. Really going to miss Boswell stopping Braden Smith.

Will anyone else step up?

I understand Illinois is the underdog, but why does this underwhelming performance always happen when they're underdogs?

Where is the intensity? Defense bad.

I'm not- we let them feel themselves offensively- and this time it's not just one player- it's their whole team

V is 5 inches taller yet TKR can back him down and score. It looks like Tomi has gained weight but V is too thin… needs to build muscle for next year
